This Professional Development workshop is designed to meet teachers where they are—supporting teachers in fostering self-care through mindful meditation. We share at home and in classroom tools and exercises to promote focus, emotional literacy, and resilience —while fostering a shared language of mindfulness across the school community. Luisa shares first hand tips on how to use meditations as a tool for teachers self-care and how to lead meditations for your classroom. Mindful brain breaks for students ages K-12 increases focus and emotional resilience.

Sound Mind Arts is a K–12 program that integrates meditation, movement, drama, visual art, and sensory games to support emotional balance, self-awareness, and community connection. Through playful, age-appropriate experiences, students learn to notice their inner world, regulate emotions, and express themselves creatively. The program fosters calm, focus, and belonging while offering practical tools that students can carry into daily life.
